Sky Family Taekwondo

Sky Family Taekwondo offers Taekwondo training for children and teens. The program takes place at a Sky Family Taekwondo school, academy, or studio setting and focuses on structured Taekwondo instruction.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Sky Martial Arts, which operates Sky Family Taekwondo, has been teaching Taekwondo in the Bay Area since 1992. The program is led under the special tutelage of World Champion and 9th Dan Black Belt Dr. Jun Yoon, along with internationally-certified and experienced instructors. The school’s stated philosophy is that Tae Kwon Do is not only a sport but a way of life, using Tae Kwon Do as a tool for teaching character development and life skills through principles such as respect, discipline, humility, perseverance, self-control, and integrity. The academy states that being a martial artist does not end on the mat and that it strives to help students achieve a strong body, mind, and spirit through hard work and determination. The organization notes that it proudly serves Dublin, California; Mumbai, India; Chuncheon, South Korea; and Los Altos, California, and that it offers a program benefiting higher education called College Advantage.
