Yuri Liberzon Guitar Lessons offers private lessons, masterclasses, coaching ensembles, and monthly seminars. The program includes remote lessons and in-person instruction at a dedicated studio. Students in the program range from beginners to professional musicians and include children and adults.

Yuri Liberzon Guitar Lessons is led by guitarist Yuri Liberzon, who has been performing and recording for the past 30 years. In his teaching, he integrates material from Aaron Shearer and Suzuki for beginner students and adds his own technical exercises to develop particular areas. He has studied guitar repertoire extensively and uses pieces that are both musically appealing and aimed at specific technical and musical skills. He keeps up with new ideas in guitar pedagogy and uses tools that focus on ergonomics, skill development, and daily practice.
Instruction in the program focuses on fingerboard navigation and memorization, music reading and sight-reading skills, creating practice regimens and forming good habits, identifying and releasing dysfunctional tension, and developing fullness, roundness, and power of tone. Lessons also address speed and accuracy of scales and arpeggios, rhythmic precision and how to use a metronome as a tool, and musicality topics such as phrasing, vibrato, rubato, color, and articulation. Additional areas of focus include choosing repertoire for concert programs, recordings, and auditions, as well as dealing with performance anxiety. In addition to weekly lessons, students meet with Yuri for monthly seminars where they practice performing in front of an audience, share ideas, and receive constructive criticism in a format similar to a mini masterclass.
