Angel City Sports Adaptive Sports Programs offers adaptive sports clinics where participants take part in activities such as Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Tennis, Track & Field, Archery, Swimming, and Adaptive Golf Clinics. Angel City Sports Adaptive Sports Programs is run by Angel City Sports, a Los Angeles-based non-profit that provides year-round adaptive sports opportunities for kids, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities or visual impairments. Clayton and Ezra Frech began Angel City Sports in June 2013, and the first Angel City Games were held in June 2015. The organization offers a year-round schedule of introductory adaptive sport clinics, hosts five major adaptive sporting events, and has expanded the Angel City Games from two to four days by adding new sport clinics and competitions. Angel City Sports reports providing over 28,000 athlete experiences since opening, offering over 250 adaptive sports clinics a year across 25 sports and providing 4,000 athlete experiences a year. The program provides free equipment, coaching, and competitive opportunities, and maintains a large inventory of adaptive sports equipment that is available to rent, which it is building to be loaned or rented to other programs and individuals. Angel City Sports has a facility and programming partnership with UCLA Recreation, and media partners at Fox Sports AM 570 have broadcast live from the track at UCLA’s Drake Stadium during events. The Pasadena Triathlon and Angel 5K at the Rose Bowl are listed as a partner event with Angel City Sports.
