DC Dance of LA offers classes in pre-ballet, ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, and acro. All classes are directed and taught by Ms. Diane Collins, alongside a team of highly qualified, passionate instructors.

For the past 31 years, DC Dance LA has been a place where children build a strong foundation in dance and theatre within a supportive, nurturing environment. The program’s mission states that classes are thoughtfully designed to support each child’s physical, mental, and emotional growth while fostering confidence, creativity, and a positive sense of self. All classes are led by Ms. Diane Collins, who serves as director and teacher of all classes.
DC Dance LA offers an elite training program for ages 3–18+ and includes a wide range of leveled competition teams built on growth. Performance Companies hold auditions in May and August. DC Dance LA trains and competes at national competitions and conventions, including Dance One Events (24 Seven, Nuvo, Jump, The Dance Awards), Hall of Fame, West Coast Dance Explosion, and more. DCC Elevate is an exclusive extension of DC Dance LA for dancers ready for a pre-professional environment and equips passionate, committed dancers with tools to succeed in the professional dance world or at the university level.
From Nutcracker and community shows to top competitions and conventions, dancers train and perform often and build lifelong friendships. The studio is described as a place where friendships are formed and connections are made through a shared love for dance, with a focus on demanding schedules, challenging training, and grit to teach discipline that extends beyond the studio.
