Future Stars Academy is an academic program that immerses children in STEM, multiculturalism, healthy habits, and play-based learning. The program includes awesome activities and events, and encourages kids to explore, solve problems, and have fun doing it. Programs are STEM-based academics and refined by age groups.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
Future Stars Academy offers Infant Daycare for ages 6–18 months, Toddler Preschool for ages 18–30 months, Two’s Preschool for ages 2–3 years, Three’s Preschool for ages 3–4 years, Jr. Pre-Kindergarten for ages 4–5 years, and Pre-Kindergarten for ages 5–6 years. The organization states it has been proudly serving SoCal families for over two decades, with its first site opening in 2003, additional centers opening in 2007 and 2009, and a Mid-City LA location beginning operation in 2019. All teachers on staff are fingerprint cleared, CPR certified, and have the required health clearances to work around children, and the organization strives to exceed California guidelines for staffing by ensuring that each teacher has the educational qualifications to be considered a Lead Teacher. The program reports an exceptionally low staff turnover ratio, with most teachers on staff from five to ten or more years. The leadership team includes Ms. Sarah as Lomita Director, Ms. Sara as Mid-City Director, and Marina and Irene as co-owners.
