Leaps n Boundz

Leaps n Boundz offers therapy, recreation, and social programs that include Behavior Therapy, Adult Tailored Services, gymnastics, swimming, and Social Skills activities. The program uses play and movement in therapeutic and fun environments, with every participant following an individualized program that addresses specific needs through activities that incorporate coordination, body awareness, strength, endurance, and focus. Its approach blends sensory movement and activities, exercise, and athletics for participants with diverse abilities.

Leaps n Boundz has been in business for 15 years since 2007 and has 400 active weekly participants and over 50 professional staff. Its mission states that the programs enable individuals of all abilities, through individualized goals and objectives, to improve quality of life and increase independence in safe and supportive environments that offer unique experiences and creative learning opportunities. A partner organization, The REACHability Foundation, states that it believes every child deserves to have fun and that children with special needs are entitled to and benefit from the same recreational opportunities as all other children.
