About
KEEN Los Angeles offers inclusive recreation and fitness programs that include KEEN Sports, KEEN Swim, KEEN Yoga, and KEENFit. The core KEEN Sports program takes place in a gym with a variety of sports equipment available. KEEN's programs are one-to-one and non-competitive, and in this non-competitive environment, every child can enjoy nearly every activity.

KEEN's mission is to empower youth with disabilities and impact volunteer coaches through participation in sponsored, non-competitive, one-on-one programs of physical activity and fun, supporting the overall health and well-being of all participants. KEEN Los Angeles is celebrating 30+ years of service. KEEN Los Angeles, LLC is an affiliate of KEENusa, a national, non-profit organization with additional affiliates operating in Chicago, Greater Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, and St. Louis. The program welcomes every child, regardless of the nature or severity of his or her disability, and its core principles include accepting every child, providing a wide array of sponsored services, and meeting the needs of the individual athlete so everyone can find success and joy. KEEN participants gain confidence and make new friends, and KEEN's approach states that almost any activity is possible.
Programs support overall health and well-being, foster volunteerism and a commitment to positive change, provide families with respite and a supportive network, and allow all participants to actively engage in the community. Volunteering for KEEN offers opportunities for occasional participation, regular involvement, and program leadership, and KEEN volunteers include individuals and young professionals, college and high school students, and corporate and community volunteer groups. KEEN staff can arrange communication in Spanish.
