United Friends of the Children – Education & Housing Programs offers service-enriched education and housing programs for current and former foster youth. The program also includes advocacy and ongoing relationships with a community of people who care. United Friends provides both housing and education services to support foster youth as they move toward self-sufficiency.

• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
United Friends of the Children was founded by Nancy M. Daly in 1979 and has been an integral part of the Los Angeles foster care community since that time. The organization serves over 700 foster youth and caregiving families each year. Its Pathways program works with foster youth ages 18–24 through a service-enriched housing program that includes positive role models and long-term relationships. United Friends is part of the Foster Youth Pre-College Collective, a coalition of California-based organizations focused on improving high school completion rates for foster youth.
