Mixon Music Summer Camp

Mixon Music LA Summer Camp offers a nonprofit summer musical theatre day camp where campers do yoga, dancing, singing, acting, aerial silks, and art. Participants also sing, dance, act, and create props and sets as part of the program. The camp includes 75 hours (3 weeks) of theatrical training, and the last day of camp is a performance where parents, families, and friends are invited.

Mixon Music LA Summer Camp’s nonprofit summer musical theatre day camp serves children in grades 1–8. Each teacher specializes in a different area of musicality, and Mixon Music teaches music lessons and theatrical classes to all ages with individualized lesson plans. The program states that it designs a process that is fun, provides growth, and is performance oriented.

Rachel Howe Mixon is the head of the group of teachers and the director of the summer camp program. Joshua Mixon is the co-owner and hiring manager. Mixon Music reports over 20 years of industry experience and states that all teachers are thoroughly vetted.
