Stitched Fashion Camp

STITCHED Fashion Camp gives kids the chance to design and create their own imaginative clothing and accessories. Campers draw fashion illustrations, sew by hand and by machine, create their own digital fabric prints, and make hand embellished pieces. STITCHED provides the projects, equipment, and supplies for these activities, and kids create one-of-a-kind wearable pieces of art.

• Ages: 8–14 years old
• Schedule: 5-day camp sessions, Monday–Friday, 10am–3pm, with four session options in June and early July

STITCHED Fashion Camp describes itself as the first DIY (Design-It-Yourself) fashion design studio and making center for kids. The program calls its experience “The Ultimate ‘Behind the Seams’ Experience” and states that projects are great for all genders and various skill levels. It describes the STITCHED experience as aspirational, challenging, confidence building, social, multi-faceted, and self expressive. It describes the STITCHED approach as forward thinking, creative, fashion driven, exploratory, collaborative, and well informed, and the STITCHED studio as inspiring, all-inclusive, accessible, connected, a community, and encouraging.
