West Coast Tigers Basketball offers competitive club teams, season leagues, shoot-outs, training, camps, clinics, after school sports programs, events, private training, private “pod” classes, and birthday parties. The program runs a Spring Break Camp – Basketball & Sports from March 30 to April 3 at Wise from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

West Coast Tigers Basketball is a youth club basketball program based in Los Angeles, California that offers competitive club teams, season leagues, shoot-outs, training, camps, clinics, after school sports programs, events, and private training. Its mission states a focus on the development of young athletes both on and off the court, including improving basketball skill and acumen, confidence, work ethic, and leadership. Tiger Sports, connected with the program, offers after school sports programs, camps, events, and private training that use innovative and fun ways to keep youth active, healthy, and building confidence in sports, and also runs private “pod” classes and birthday parties.

Coach Todd started Tigers over 10 years ago and serves as Director and Coach. The leadership and coaching team includes Todd Brandenburg (Director/Coach), Scottie Jordan (Youth Development/Events/Coach), Mike Terani (Program Consultant/Coach), Coltrane Powdrill (Trainer/Coach), Daniel Thai (Trainer/Coach), Demetrius Overstreet (Trainer/Coach), Corey Allen (Trainer/Coach), and Gorden Boykins (Trainer/Coach). Coach Todd played Division II basketball at Flagler College in Florida, worked for Nike and Adidas basketball, was competitively selected among five others to travel to Japan as an outreach program, served as Varsity Assistant Coach for Boys Basketball at Milken High School contributing to the team’s first CIF championship, was Head Coach JV Boys Basketball at Milken, was Varsity Assistant Coach to the Boys team at Beverly Hills High School, and is a veteran coach at the Jay Bilas Coaches Development Program each summer. Coach Scottie was a three-sport athlete in basketball, football, and boxing, continued his athletic career at Texas State University where he studied sociology and business, has been coaching for the last five years with elementary through high school kids, and has spent the last eight years working with different audiences for television shows such as Dancing with the Stars, Family Feud, and Nickelodeon’s All That. Coach Mike started playing basketball at age 8, began coaching and refereeing throughout Southern California at age 15, coached his first youth basketball team in 1996, was a “Scholar-Athlete” in school and named “Most Improved Player of The Year” and “Most Inspirational Player of The Year,” and is a Partner at Oakwood Legal Group, LLP.

Coach Coltrane played basketball at Moorpark College, earning the title of the third top scorer in the state, then transferred to California Lutheran University where he helped lead the Kingsmen to a SCIAC championship, and he can teach fundamentals of soccer, football, baseball, and golf. Coach Daniel discovered his love for basketball at age 8, worked as a scorekeeper by age 14, began coaching youth basketball by 17, has worked with college students to develop skills in graphic design, photography, and videography, and has led teams on medical missions in Vietnam guiding youth ages 14–19. Coach Demetrius began playing basketball at age 4, graduated from San Bernardino High School where he holds the record for most assists in a game and the fastest 100m dash, walked on to the basketball team at Oregon State University, and has been coaching high school and AAU basketball for the last four years, helping players continue their basketball and academic careers at the college level. Coach Corey played at Mount San Antonio College, earning Player of the Year honors two years in a row and helping lead the team to its first state championship, then transferred to the University of South Florida where he played for two years and earned a degree in communications, played professionally overseas in Albania, Georgia, Slovenia, Belgium, and Slovakia, was drafted in the 4th round by the Austin Spurs (San Antonio Spurs G League), and started coaching with the freshman team at Walnut High School. Coach Gorden played basketball at Cerritos College and then at Lewis Clark State College for his final two years of college, led his team to a total of 40+ wins in two years, and has been working youth camps for most of his basketball career.
