West Coast Elite Basketball runs basketball camps, tournaments, showcases, and West Coast Elite All Star Camps. The West Coast Elite All Star Camps attract some of the best players in the country and coaches from throughout the country. The program has teams from 3rd grade through 12th grade and operates more than 100 events a year in 11 states.

West Coast Elite Basketball is led by Founder Ryan Silver, who is also President of West Coast Elite Under Armour and President of the Silver Family Foundation. Coach Ryan Silver was named the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Coach of the Year in 2011, won a CIF Championship at Sierra Canyon High School in 2011, and recorded 41 wins in 2 years at Sierra Canyon. He is a 2003 graduate of UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science and is the Director and Founder of the West Coast Elite Under Armour program. Silver released his first book, “The 40 Year Plan,” which guides families through grassroots basketball.

The program’s stated mission includes a focus on passion for basketball and life, hard work without excuses, teamwork on and off the court, planning for the future beyond playing days, and appreciation and gratitude. West Coast Elite is the largest event operator on the West Coast and is described as the #1 event operator on the West Coast. West Coast Elite Basketball camps, tournaments, and showcases are recognized nationwide as some of the top camps and events in the country, and events have received widespread collegiate attention. West Coast Elite is part of the Jr. NBA Flagship Network and was named one of the 15 best-in-class youth basketball organizations in the country that share the NBA’s vision of how the game should be taught, and is one of the 15 members of the Jr. NBA Flagship Network.

The West Coast Elite program has teams from 3rd grade through 12th grade and has helped generate over $150,000,000 in scholarships for former players. West Coast Elite has 27 former coaches working at the college and NBA level and is described as an absolute powerhouse in terms of helping place coaches in college. West Coast Elite All Star Camps attract top players and coaches from across the country.

Coach Ryan Silver is involved with numerous city and state charitable organizations, including California Boys’ State, where he has served as a counselor for 18 years. He is President of the Silver Family Foundation, serves on the Under Armour Grassroots Board of Directors, the HOPE Foundation Board of Directors, and the California Diabetes Board, and annually gives substantial amounts of money to help underprivileged kids attend college. In 2019, Silver was inducted into the California Boys State Hall of Fame as its youngest inductee and was recognized by the California State Senate for dedicating his life to serving the community. In 2019, he received a Los Angeles City Service award from the Los Angeles City Council and a California State Senate and Assembly resolution recognizing his service to California and his Hall of Fame induction. In 2020, he received the Presidential Service award.
