Swim Team Enhancement Lessons are weekly small group sessions tailored to each participant’s personal goals and are described as particularly beneficial for older kids who aspire to join either Team B or Team A but need more experience. Swim Pro lessons are recommended for ages 13 and up and are available year round. The program teaches to each individual's skill set, even within a group setting, and focuses on teaching safety first and building upon basic skills. The curriculum and methods come from over 30 years of experience, and the program states that it will gently help children become water safe and develop a strong swimming foundation while having fun, encouraging children who are fearful without forcing them. The program does not allow floaties or life jackets during lessons, stating that the program emphasizes learning to swim independently without flotation devices because floaties or life jackets may interfere with skill development and proper technique. Families do not need to be members to sign up for swim lessons, but members receive a discount, and to receive member pricing, a child must be a member at the time of registration and for the duration of the lessons.
