About
Bay Area Fencing Club offers fencing with training in all three Olympic weapons: Foil, Epee, and Saber. The program serves over 400 athletes and includes instruction across these different fencing disciplines. It is described as one of the fastest-growing fencing clubs in the nation.
Founded in 2022 during the height of the pandemic by a group of parents and professional coaches, Bay Area Fencing Club focuses on the holistic development of young people athletically, academically, and socially. Its stated mission is to support the growth and development of young people through the sport of fencing, with core values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and integrity. Three of the original fencers, Celine, Serena, and Zoie, co-founded the Point Impact Foundation to democratize fencing, create local tournament opportunities, and develop young refereeing skills.
