About

Dance Attack! offers preschool tap-ballet combo classes with creative movement for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 1/2, with class lengths of 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on age. It also offers Jr. Hip Hop, Hip Hop/Acro, School Age Dance Essentials 1 and 2, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Latin Jazz, Acro, Contemporary, and Adaptive Dance.

Programs

  • Preschool program / Tap-Ballet combo classes (2-3, 3-4, 4-5) — Students must be 2 1/2 years old for the 2-3 class, 3 1/2–4 1/2 for the 3-4 class, and 4 1/2–5 1/2 for the 4-5 class · Creative movement classes including tap and ballet; 2-3 class is 30 minutes, 3-4 class is 45 minutes, and 4-5 class is 60 minutes.
  • Jr. Hip Hop — Youngest intro to hip hop · 45 minutes; includes warm ups, drills and skills, combinations, and movement games.
  • Hip Hop/Acro — 60 minutes; includes warm ups, drills and skills, combinations, tumbling, and movement games.
  • School Age Dance Essentials 1 and 2 — 5.5–6.5 and 6–8 · Combo classes in tap, ballet, and jazz technique for students preparing for hour-long single subject classes.
  • Ballet — Ages 6 and up; also open level classes for adults · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Jazz — Ages 6 and up; also beginning Jazz for teens and preteens without previous dance training · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Tap — Ages 6 and up; also open level classes for adults · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Musical Theater — Ages 6 and up; also teen Musical Theater for students preparing for Middle and High School theater auditions · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Latin Jazz — Ages 6 and up · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Acro — Ages 6 and up · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Contemporary — Ages 6 and up; teen and preteen classes without previous dance training; also more advanced classes with teacher approval · Single-subject classes; one part of the studio’s class offerings.
  • Adaptive Dance — Students with special needs; 2025-2026 classes listed for ages 7-15 and adults · Wednesdays, 5:30–6:15 pm and 6:15–7:15 pm · Fully inclusive program for dancers with special needs.

About the provider

Dance Attack! has been inspiring Bay Area dancers for 35 years. Its mission is to deliver top technical training while inspiring all students to develop confidence, community, life skills, and a love of learning. The studio has received awards including Best of the Best dance classes by Bay Area Parent, Best Silicon Valley Dance Company by Metro Silicon Valley, and 5 Diamond studio by LA Dance Magic. Its Performing Company performs at community events and participates in dance competitions and conventions.

Annual registration fee is $40, or $15 for a sibling also enrolling. Tuition is due by the 1st of the month. No refunds. To drop a class, notify the studio in writing by the 20th of the month. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted, but checks are not accepted except from a verified, approved customer. There is a 3% non-cash adjustment on card transactions.
