School Break Camps is a program offered by Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation. The program follows the organization’s focus on building a healthy community through enrichment, innovation and fun. It is part of a broader set of fee-based public recreation and supplemental education programs and child care services connected to multiple local school districts.

• Schedule: Office hours for listed locations run Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation was formed in 1956. It was originally formed by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District and later reorganized by three local school districts as a separate joint powers agency to provide community education and recreation services to the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno and nearby mountain communities. The mission of LGS Recreation is to provide fee-based public recreation programs for Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and the Los Gatos mountain communities, as well as fee-based supplemental education programs and child care services for Los Gatos Union School District, Saratoga Union School District and Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District.

The leadership team includes Board Chairperson Anjali Sridhar (Community Member); Board Vice Chairperson Dr. Ken Geisick (Superintendent Saratoga Union School District); Paul Johnson (Superintendent Los Gatos Union School District); Heath Rocha (Interim Superintendent Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School District); Board Members Anthony Reynolds, Rob Caruso, and Jared Messenger (Community Members); and staff members Nancy Rollett (Executive Director), Dee Towner (Director of Human Resources, Facilities), and Harrison Paist (Director of Finance).
