About
Pepperdine University, Malibu Summer Course includes 15 hours of English lessons per week and a mix of on-site and off-site activities such as Sports on Campus, Pool Olympics, Drama Session, Game Night, Karaoke Night, Pizza Night & Pool Party, Chill Club, and other on-site activities. The programme features visits to Los Angeles’ most popular attractions, including a full-day excursion to Universal Studios and excursions to Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood Boulevard, Malibu Beach, Griffith Park & Observatory, the Getty Center, the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, The Grove & The Original Farmer’s Market, Santa Monica Pier/Beach & Shopping, and a Politics and Royalty tour, along with walking tours, Hollywood Tours, LA Tours, Beverly Hills Tours, beach activities, shopping, and an optional excursion.

• Schedule: 1–6 week programmes available between 28 June and 2 August 2026; a standard two-week programme includes 15 hours of English lessons per week, seven half-day activities, and two full-day excursions
Oxford International was founded in 1991 as ISIS Education and Travel by David Brown and Robert Darell and has grown to be one of the top 10 businesses sponsored by the Prince’s Trust, with which it remains closely associated. Its mission statement is: “We create life enhancing learning experiences that help students worldwide to develop personally and professionally and that enrich their future opportunities.” One student testimonial states: “I enjoyed the online lessons very much. The teacher was great and I learnt a lot of new things. I also met students from Russia, France, Israel and Saudi Arabia.” The programme uses university campus residence accommodation with a maximum of 200 beds per week in single gender, 4-twin-bedroom apartments with semi-private bathrooms and a living room, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included, and all students need to bring their own towels and toiletries. Oxford International Junior Programmes states that it may accept students slightly younger or older than the advertised age range with admissions team approval, and that the use of Pepperdine University’s name is strictly for identifying the location, with no affiliation or involvement by Pepperdine University in the programmes.
