Pepperdine University, Malibu Summer Course includes 15 hours of English lessons per week and a mix of on-campus and outdoor activities such as Sports on Campus, Drama Session, Pool Olympics, Pool Party, Pizza Night & Pool Party, Karaoke Night, Chill Club, and other on-site activities. The programme features walking tours, Hollywood Tours, LA Tours, Beverly Hills Tours, a Hollywood Boulevard Tour, a Politics and Royalty tour, and visits to top attractions in Los Angeles. Students take part in Malibu Beach Day, beach activities, shopping trips, Dinner Out, and excursions such as a full-day excursion to Universal Studios and visits to Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Santa Monica Pier/Beach & Shopping, The Grove & The Original Farmer’s Market, Griffith Park & Observatory, plus seven half-day activities and two full-day excursions in a standard two-week programme.

Oxford International was founded in 1991 as ISIS Education and Travel and has grown to be one of the top 10 businesses sponsored by the Prince’s Trust, and remains closely associated with it. Its mission statement is: “We create life enhancing learning experiences that help students worldwide to develop personally and professionally and that enrich their future opportunities.” The programme is an all-inclusive programme featuring visits to Los Angeles’s most iconic destinations, with breakfast, lunch and dinner included, and a university campus residence with a maximum of 200 beds per week; all students need to bring their own towels and toiletries. English levels range from Elementary to Proficiency, and the programme can be adjusted to lower English levels; Oxford International Junior Programmes may accept students slightly younger or older than the advertised minimum/maximum age with prior approval. The use of Pepperdine University’s name is strictly for the purpose of identifying the location; Oxford International Junior Programmes have no affiliation with Pepperdine University and Pepperdine University is not involved in or responsible for the programmes.
