The stated mission of AYSO Diablo Valley is “Providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.” The leadership team includes Denis McCarthy, who serves as Head Coach for the 2010 Girls Diamond team, Assistant Coach for the 2003 Girls Diamond team, and has also been a Club Administrator and Interim Director of Coaching. Coaching staff credentials include USSF Grassroots Certificates for 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11, USSF D and F Licenses, and an AYSO Advanced License. Team accomplishments listed for the 2003 Girls include CCSL Spring League Champions 2018, Fall Champions 2019, Davis Super Classic Champions 2016, Breakers Spring Cup 2017 Champions Top Bracket, CUFA Fall 2019 Champions, Magic Cup 2019 Champions, Dublin Fall 2015 and 2019 Champions, and Comstock Shootout 2015, 2016 and 2018 Champions.

AYSO’s broader community involvement includes a partnership with BEEUP Snacks as the Official Fruit Snack Partner for the 2025–2026 season, a partnership with Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming, a partnership with the US Center for Mental Health & Sport focused on player and volunteer wellness, and a partnership with Northland Sports Alliance to expand soccer programming in Kansas City. A testimonial from Coach Denis McCarthy states, “My favorite part of being a coach....is helping kids develop as players and individuals. I believe that sports are a healthy and important part of improving kids ability to learn and grow both on the field and off.”
