Martinez Early Childhood Center

Martinez Early Childhood Center is a private, non-profit program offering infant, toddler, and preschool education with a play-based curriculum. The program uses its 2.5 acre site and the natural wonders the children encounter as part of how children learn from their experiences. Healthy meals and snacks are provided and prepared on-site under the Federal Food Program CACFP.

• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Open year round, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Price: Tuition is at no-cost for eligible families (based on family size and income). For example: Families with 1–2 people, and monthly income of under $7,000; Families with 3 people, and monthly income of under $8,000.

Martinez Early Childhood Center has been in the business of quality care and education services since 1974. The mission of the program is to provide an environment of Joy, Learning and Fun, as well as health and safety at MECC. The program provides full-time, year-round support services to low income families and is now enrolling for no-cost childcare for eligible families, with eligibility based on family size and income.

All teachers are experienced Early Childhood Educators who possess CA Child Development Teacher Permits. All staff are college educated, and many hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, and the teaching staff is multilingual. Martinez Early Childhood Center is contracted with the CA Department of Education and the CA Department of Social Services. The program holds a 5-Star Rating by Quality Childcare Matter and is licensed by the Department of Social Services (#070209102, #070209103).
