Martinez Early Childhood Center

Martinez Early Childhood Center is a private, non-profit program that offers Infant/Toddler and Preschool education with a play-based curriculum. The program provides healthy meals and snacks that are prepared on-site under the Federal Food Program CACFP. Martinez Early Childhood Center is now enrolling for no-cost childcare for eligible families and is accepting registrations for its waitlist.

• Ages: 1–5 years old
• Schedule: Open year round, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Price: Tuition is at no-cost for eligible families (based on family size and income). For example: Families with 1-2 people, and monthly income of under $7,000; Families with 3 people, and monthly income of under $8,000.

Martinez Early Childhood Center has been in the business of quality care and education services since 1974. The program operates on a 2.5 acre site that includes natural features the children encounter. It provides full-time, year-round support services to low income families, with no-cost tuition for eligible families based on family size and income.

All teachers at Martinez Early Childhood Center are experienced Early Childhood Educators who possess CA Child Development Teacher Permits. All staff are college educated, many hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, and the teaching staff is multilingual. The stated mission of Martinez Early Childhood Center is to provide an environment of Joy, Learning and Fun, as well as health and safety at MECC. The program is contracted with the CA Department of Education and the CA Department of Social Services. It holds a 5-Star Rating by Quality Childcare Matter and is licensed by the Department of Social Services (#070209102, #070209103).
