Martinez Futsal League includes futsal games along with focused Wednesday Futsal Training. Players take part in possession, dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and goalkeeping training, and most training sessions keep a ball continuously at each child’s feet. Martinez Futsal games use sideline volunteer managers instead of coaches, and games track standings and points.

The league includes boys and girls ages 5–12 years and uses an indoor, basketball-sized court. Players must wear flat sole shoes, not cleats, and cash payments are accepted if placed in an envelope with the player’s name written on it. The program states that the majority of training sessions involve a ball continuously at each child’s feet. Martinez Futsal League does not communicate by text message about a child playing in Martinez Futsal League or Empire Futbol Club and instead communicates by email once a child is registered.
Coaches Fernando Sagastume and Wes Knapp lead the program, and together they have over 50 years of experience. Both coaches have worked at the youth, high school, and adult levels. The mission of Martinez Futsal League is to let boys and girls of all skill levels play the game with a free flow, where it is okay to make a mistake and experiment with skills, which the program states creates true growth and a love for the game to help them move up to the next level. The program notes that the spring season is still being negotiated with Universal.
