About
St. Catherine of Siena CYO offers basketball, cross country, and track & field for youth. The program includes organized CYO basketball with a defined registration period, team formation, practices, regular season play, and playoffs.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Registration for 2025–2026 CYO Basketball is open until August 31, 2025, with teams formed and practices starting the first week of October; regular season play runs from the first weekend of November through mid-February, with playoffs announced in February 2026.
St. Catherine of Siena CYO is led by Co-Athletic Directors Carrie Gadek and Jeff Marks. As a ministry of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, its mission is to offer children a Christ-centered sports experience that nurtures self-confidence and self-discipline while developing their athletic skills and spiritual growth, guided by the values of the Catholic Church. The ministry states that it exists not just to build strong players, but to form strong disciples, teaching kids to honor God in all they do, on and off the field. The program is open to boys and girls in 2nd to 8th grade who either live within St. Catherine of Siena Parish boundaries, attend St. Catherine of Siena School, or are enrolled and participating in the Religious Education Program at St. Catherine of Siena Parish. For cross country and track & field, St. Catherine of Siena CYO partners with Christ the King. Families can follow program updates on Instagram at @STCMTZCYO.
