The Chinese Afterschool Program is dedicated to introducing the Chinese language to young learners. The program uses small-group teaching methods and an application-driven curriculum. Interactive methods and personalized small-class attention are key features, supported by the Menlo Chinese Textbook and Workbook, as well as animations featuring Menlo Chinese School’s IP characters.

The program is led by a team of professional and experienced staff with solid Mandarin teaching expertise. The leadership team includes Claire Qiu as the Founder, Lydia Lin as the Lead Mandarin Teacher in Palo Alto, Carol Huang as the Mandarin Teacher in Redwood City, Dan Wu as the Lead Mandarin Teacher for Weekend Programs, and Yayin Zhu as the Lead Mandarin Teacher in Menlo Park.
