Its mission is to enrich the quality of life in the community by offering a diverse range of recreational programs, parks, and facilities that promote health, wellness, learning, and fun. In partnership with the Tiburon Peninsula Foundation, SRD offers a Youth Scholarship Program for Marin County residents under the age of 18. SRD must generate sufficient net income to cover operating costs and to fund maintenance, repairs, and improvements to aging facilities. Dogs are not permitted on the SRD facility.
