Sage Educators

Sage Educators offers one-on-one tutoring with specialized, full-time tutors, including remote sessions and in-person options. The program provides test prep, including preparation for the new digital SAT, as well as ongoing homework help and a study lounge. It also offers support for for-credit online classes, summer one-on-one tutoring packages of 10, 20, or 40 hours, and subject-specific final exam review sessions in Chemistry, Algebra I, Geometry, Precalculus, and Advanced Algebra on scheduled June dates.

About the provider

Sage Educators has served students in Marin County for 15 years and has been part of the Marin community since 2007. Its stated mission is to help each student reach their academic goals by providing one-on-one tutoring within a welcoming environment wherein kids feel comfortable, supported, and inspired to succeed. The program offers WASC-accredited and UC/CSU-approved for-credit courses through partnerships with APEX Learning Virtual School and BYU Online High School. Through the Sage Educators Foundation, it funds academic programs for K–12 students in need, regardless of age, race, religion, or socioeconomic status, and the Sage Service Club involves students and teachers in volunteering and community service with the Parks Conservancy, the nonprofit sector of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
