Community Care Preschool

Community Care Preschool uses a play-based, collaborative approach guided by the HighScope Curriculum. The program emphasizes hands-on, active learning in a social environment that recognizes each child’s individuality.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Director Keli Yu leads Community Care Preschool. The program’s mission states that it focuses on physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development, with an emphasis on critical thinking, empathy, self-confidence, social responsibility, and imagination. The mission also states that Community Care Preschool values community and views parents as their child’s first and most influential teachers, and that the program is dedicated to partnering and working collaboratively with parents to support each child’s growth and development.
