IRCC-26 is organized after three successful editions and is a first time in the United States. The listed leadership team includes Convener Devi Gireesh, Co-Chair Padmapriya Palottu, and Global President of GYRA Dr. Irimpan Mathews. The conference states that it brings together school-level student researchers, teachers, parents, administrators, stakeholders, scientists, and educators from around the world, and that it welcomes students with disabilities and promotes inclusion and diversity.

Participants must be between 5 and 18 years old on the date of the conference, understand and follow proceedings in English, and have parent or guardian permission. Registration is by teacher/guardian online only. Maximum 10 participants under one registration including students and guests. One abstract per registration. Submitting a paper is not necessary to attend the conference. Abstracts must be submitted through the website after registration and are limited to 250 words. The senior-most student author defines the presentation category.
