About
Stepping Stone World Preschool offers children activities such as dance, gymnastics, arts and crafts, and hands-on science experiments. The program takes place on a beautiful, well-maintained campus with spacious play areas and large play structures designed to keep children active, engaged, and happy.
• Ages: 1–6 years old
The program follows a mission to nurture each child’s natural curiosity while fostering a lifelong love of learning in a joyful, supportive, and safe environment where children grow through meaningful relationships, exploration, and play. It features a balanced approach to academics, play, and social development, with a curriculum rooted in play-based and developmentally appropriate practices and certified academic and developmental learning for Toddlers (18 months and up), Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), and Kindergarten. Unique features include personalized attention, care, and encouragement for every child, regular updates with joyful photos and little milestones shared with families, and a warm, community-first school culture.
All of the teachers hold a Bachelor’s degree and maintain the certifications required to teach in California, including a Child Development Permit, CPR and First Aid certification, and completed coursework in Early Childhood Education. The school is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, complies with Title 22 safety regulations, undergoes routine state inspections, and follows emergency readiness protocols. Teacher-to-student ratios are 1:6 for ages 2–3 and 1:9 for ages 3–5. The leadership team includes Director Manisha Sharma.
The community reflects the rich cultural diversity of the Bay Area, with teachers and students from many backgrounds. Children are introduced to Hindi/Indian, Spanish/Mexican, and Mandarin/Chinese language and culture through stories, songs, celebrations, and activities. The program is now accepting students for 2026 and is described as a convenient and easily accessible option in the heart of the community.
