Evolution Swim Academy

Evolution Swim Academy offers swim lessons, Parent & Me lessons, small-group swim classes, semi-private swim lessons, private swim lessons, novice swim team programs, and competitive swim team programs. The program also includes Intro to Gators, Evolution Racing Club, Intro to Evo, and an Accelerator Course as part of its aquatic offerings.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Call centers are open Monday–Friday from 9:00am–4:00pm with a daily closure from 1:00pm–1:30pm, and swim school classes are offered seven days a week with morning and afternoon/evening options.

Evolution Swim Academy was founded in 2005 as a family-owned swim school and describes itself as a premier provider of learn-to-swim lessons in Orange County, with programs that cover the entire spectrum of aquatic activities and a clear pathway into novice and competitive swim team programs. The curriculum is developed from the ground up and is continuously updated, and instructors are trained in-house, are Certified Swim Instructors, and must complete the Evolution Swim Academy training program before teaching a lesson. The leadership team is led by founder Felipe Delgado, a two-time Olympian, and Olympic swimmers Aaron Peirsol, Larsen Jensen, Gabe Woodard, and Rebecca Soni collaborate with him in shaping the program.

The program highlights a maximum 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio in small group lessons, private and small group lessons at all locations, small class sizes, and a team that knows families by name. Facilities feature 90° water, warm changing rooms, and what the program describes as a clean and welcoming environment, with hospitality that turns the swim school into a second home. Evolution Swim Academy states that it offers high-quality swim instruction for infants, toddlers, children, and adults, including Parent & Me lessons for the youngest students and an Intro to Gators program as a non-competitive transition between swim lessons and a competitive swim team.
