Within Reach Learning Center

Within Reach Learning Center offers activity driven reading tutoring, activity driven math tutoring, and activity driven writing tutoring. Instruction is personalized to each student, and the owner personally teaches every student and does not hire high school tutors. The center uses a fun approach to reading, math, and writing.

• Ages: 4–11 years old
• Schedule: Class hours Monday–Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Within Reach Learning Center has been providing students with activity driven reading, math, and writing tutoring for kids Pre-K to 5th grade since 2005. The program helps TK and Kindergarten students learn how to read and helps older students build critical reading and math skills as well as test taking strategies. It gets students who are struggling back on track and provides a challenging atmosphere for accelerated students.

Owner and instructor Janelle Caldwell is an Orange County native and a USC graduate, and she personally teaches every student. Within Reach’s mission is helping students to achieve their educational goals. The owner runs a Kindness Project that does many community events throughout the year to help spread kindness and teach kids the importance of paying it forward. One testimonial shared by the program is, “Everyone is a reader...Some just haven't found their favorite book yet.”
