Since 2007, the club has been based in Mississauga and operates as an Independent Not for Profit Incorporation recognized as a Competitive and Recreation, Adult and Youth Soccer Club by Ontario Soccer, which is part of Canada Soccer. It is also a Registered Community Group with the Peel Halton Soccer Association and the City of Mississauga. The club states that it is dedicated to developing the technical, tactical, physical and psychological elements of players at the recreation, competitive, semi-professional and professional youth and adult levels, and to improving soccer at the provincial and national levels, while offering services at affordable rates and free for kids and youth from low income families, and fostering a respectful environment that educates and promotes equality, safety and a healthy multicultural society free from discrimination and bullying.

The program uses certified and paid coaches for each team, with over 24 part-time and full-time staff who have professional, national and provincial soccer experience as players and as coaches. For IModel program participants, the club offers up to 6 hours of training per week plus access to a Club Nutritionist and Physiotherapy, and its services also include Club Scholarship, Club Nutritionist, Club Psychologist, Club Physiotherapy and Club Scouts. The Recreation House League combines athletic development with socio-cultural awareness by using soccer to teach about different countries and cultures, assigning each team a true replica of a World National Soccer Team uniform, and having every player age 4 to 18 complete weekly homework about the country they represent.

Community involvement includes dedicating 5–7% of the club’s annual revenue each year to free enrolments for children and youth from low income families. Since 2007, the club has provided free soccer enrolments for over 2,300 kids from low income families while maintaining its stated focus on equality, safety and a multicultural environment free from discrimination and bullying.
