Sequoia Brigade Camp

Sequoia Brigade Camp offers Boys Adventure Camp, Girls Adventure Camp, father/son and father/daughter camps, the Father Daughter Canoe Trip, Base Camp: Introduction to Trip Camping, White Water Canoe Trip, Coding Camp, Rock Climbing Camp, High Sierra Backpacking Trip, and Surf Camp for Guys. The camp also states that it provides all the gear and all the training.

• Boys Adventure Camp - NorCal — Boys 3rd-6th grade · A classic boys camp designed with discipleship as our primary focus in the context of dirt and adventure. This camp serves boys in Northern California.
• Boys Adventure Camp - SoCal — Boys 3rd-9th grade · A classic boys camp designed with discipleship as our primary focus in the context of dirt and adventure. This camp serves boys in Southern California.
• Girls Adventure Camp - SoCal — girls 3rd-9th grade · Girls Adventure Camp provides a great way for girls to learn what God desires for their lives in a fun and safe camp environment. This camp serves girls in Southern California.
• Father/Son Father/Daughter Camp - norcal — Boys or Girls with their dads · 5 days for fathers and their kids to play, learn, and grow together making memories. Located in Northern California.
• Father/Son Father/Daughter Camp - Socal — Boys or Girls with their dads · 5 days for fathers and their kids to play, learn, and grow together making memories. Located in Southern California.
• Father Daughter Canoe Trip — Girls 7th Grade & Up · This trip is designed to provide fathers with growing daughters a chance to connect with each other for 4 adventure filled days on the river. Cancelled this summer. Plan ahead for 2027!
• Base Camp: Introduction to Trip Camping — guys 6th-12th grade
• White Water Canoe Trip — guys 8th grade and up · Learn how to paddle white water on one of the most untouched rivers in California. No experience is needed.
• Coding Camp — BOYS 7TH GRADE and up · At Coding Camp, we'll learn how God can help us use this technology to glorify and serve Him.
• Rock Climbing Camp — BOYS 8tH GRADE and up
• High Sierra Backpacking Trip — BOYS 7tH GRADE and up
• Surf Camp - Guys — guys 8th-12th grade · Come surf the beautiful waters of San Diego while we study God's word and world! No experience is needed.

About the provider

Sequoia Brigade Camp says its mission is to use God’s creation as a context for camps and trips that challenge the minds, bodies, and souls of boys and young men. The camp describes itself as a small camping organization with a high counselor-to-camper ratio and small overall camp numbers. Its leadership team is Camp Director Karl Benson and Registrar Will Heckinger, and it says Bob Nass served as Director for the past 45 years.

We are a small camping organization by design. Our counselor to camper ratio is high and our overall camp numbers small because our philosophy of ministry is built around discipleship.
