First Tee — Central Valley

First Tee – Central Valley offers golf classes that integrate the game of golf with a life skills curriculum. Through every practice and every round, participants work on mastering golf fundamentals and building upon a golf skill foundation as they advance within the program.

• Ages: 5–17 years old

First Tee – Central Valley is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. The program engages participants at each age group with Key Commitments: Pursuing Goals, Growing through Challenge, Collaborating with Others, Building Positive Self-Identity, and Using Good Judgement. At First Tee – Central Valley, a Game Changer is a participant or individual who embodies the program’s values by using character skills learned through golf to create positive change in their communities. First Tee – Central Valley brings programs to families across Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa, and Tuolumne counties, with classes hosted at five different golf courses throughout the region.
