Montebello Police Athletic & Activities League Youth Basketball League offers a co-ed youth basketball league where every child participates in every game. The program includes activities connected to the Youth Basketball League such as the 2026 PAAL Basketball Clinics, 2026 PAAL Basketball Schedule, 2026 Picture Day, and an End of Season Picnic. Additional PAAL events connected to the program include the 2026 Comedy Night Fundraiser, 2026 PAAL Fishing Trip, and 2026 PAAL Clothing Drive.
• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: The season starts in April/May and ends in July/August.
• Price: $40 Includes Show and Prime Rib Buffet (for the 2026 Comedy Night Fundraiser).
The league is gender inclusive (co-ed), has teams for kids ages 5 to 17, and states that every child participates in every game. The basketball league encourages a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, builds self-esteem and sportsmanship, emphasizes family involvement, and teaches the value of fair play and respect for others. Parents are encouraged to get involved by attending games and volunteering as coaches, and Montebello PAAL is always looking for volunteers to help with events, coaching, and scorekeeping.
Registration includes a full uniform with jersey and shorts that players keep, a team picture, an award, secondary insurance, two vouchers for a sporting event (TBA), an end-of-season picnic, and a league t-shirt. The season finishes with a family picnic that includes awards, fun activities, and food.
