Family Service Association

Family Service Association offers child development services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from 12 weeks to 5 years. It also offers preschool for children ages 3 to 5, home visitation for children ages 0 to 2 using the Parents as Teachers curriculum, early childhood consultation for children ages 0 to 5, and parenting education for parents or caregivers with young children.

Programs

• Child Development — Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers; serving children from 12 weeks to 5 years · Safe, affordable child development services; most families qualify for free or low-cost services; state-subsidized and open to all families with priority for low-income households.
• Preschool — Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 years · Early learning program that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.
• Home Visitation — Children ages 0-2 · In-home visitation services using the Parents as Teachers curriculum.
• Early Childhood Consultation — Children ages 0-5 · Behavioral health consultation to teachers, parents, and caregivers across FSA Child Development Centers.
• Parenting Education — Parents or caregivers with young children · Virtual and in-person services to address child safety concerns and help families build strengths and prevent future abuse or neglect.

About the provider

Family Service Association has served families for over 70 years, since 1953. It is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Its mission is to address poverty, hunger, and health, from infancy to older adults, in families and under-served communities.

Serving children from infancy to age 5. Open to all families, with priority for low-income households. Affordable and subsidized options available. No one will be denied access to behavioral health services due to inability to pay; a discounted/sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.
