About
AR Workshop Youth Workshops and Camps offers hands-on craft classes that include DIY workshops, wood workshops, and summer art camps. Participants work on specific projects such as wood signs, trays, porch signs, seasonal projects, canvas pillows, wall hangings, tote bags, youth aprons, and a variety of knit blankets, including chunky knit, classic knit, and specialty knit blankets. The program also offers candle pouring workshops where participants mix scents to create their own candle and fragrance, along with watercolor, embroidery, charcuterie, hat burning, jewelry, cookie decorating, handlettering, and texture art workshops, as well as group activities and private parties.
AR Workshop Youth Workshops and Camps take place in boutique DIY studios described as charming spaces with tools and materials ready for participants, who leave the mess behind. These studios are presented as a destination for all things DIY, with a wide variety of personalized projects and designs, and also feature a curated retail selection of gifts, home decor, and DIY-to-Go kits.
AR Workshop was introduced in 2016 by co-founders Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff and has grown to more than 125 franchises across the country. The leadership team includes Maureen Anders (Co-Founder / Chief Executive Officer), Adria Ruff (Co-Founder / Creative Director), Ryann Fairweather (VP of Operations), Libby Martel (VP of Strategy and Brand Development), Emily Ostrowski (Director of National Marketing & Brand Partnerships), Joanna Rapuzzi (Director of Franchise Development), Kellie Smith (Operations and IT Manager), Melissa Bowen (Brand Manager), Jillian Russell (Franchise General Counsel), Calhoun Grabowski (Graphic Designer & Project Manager), and Jen Carver (Content Contributor).
