About
California Dance International offers classes in ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, conditioning, character, tap, contemporary, Pilates, and Ukraine folk dance. The program includes classes for both girls and boys taught by teachers with professional dance experience around the globe.

Owner and Director Erena Ishii Shevchuk is an AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum, a 9-level program. She has an extensive background in dance and the performing arts and is trained in Balanchine, Cecchetti, and Bournaville. California Dance International has both male and female teachers, and the teacher possesses certification and credentials for working with children. The studio serves kids in Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and surrounding South Valley and South Bay areas. Erena Ishii Shevchuk has received a City Commendation from The San Jose City Council in 2015 after receiving 1st place Classical and 1st place in character at The International Competition DANCE GRAND PRIX “ITALIA,” and she also received 1st place in character dance at the Hungarian National Ballet Summer International.
