Miss Julie is the creative spirit behind Hippity Hop Arts, and her interest in art began with an Art History class at California State University–Hayward, leading to over 25 years of involvement in arts and crafts. In 2017, she started an art program at her daughters’ elementary school, which later grew into Hippity Hop Arts, which opened in 2022. The studio’s mission focuses on drawing, painting, sculpting, and designing, along with sharing art history and the use of color with children. Hippity Hop Arts has been voted Best Summer Camp of Morgan Hill, and Doc, the bunny mascot, is described as a beloved part of the program.
