Master MAQ

Master MAQ offers Taekwondo and Olympic Style Taekwondo (WT Rules). The program takes place at Master MAQ studio, which is formally known as Kings Martial Arts Academy and is considered a traditional MMA school that pulls from other styles to become well rounded martial artists not for the fight but for defense. The competition team practices Olympic Style Taekwondo (WT Rules).

• Ages: 5–18 years old

Master MAQ is under the instruction of 6th Dan Black Belt, Master Michael Quintana. The leadership team includes Master Michael Quintana as instructor, Program Director Dora Quintana, Grand Master Jeff King as trainer of Master Michael Quintana, and Grand Master Hyun K. Choi as founder of the United Taekwondo Association. Master Michael Quintana began training in 1998 and earned his first Black Belt in 2003. Master MAQ has been a proud vendor since 2017.

The program is part of the United Taekwondo Association (UTA), which was founded by Grand Master Hyun K. Choi. The UTA has a long history in Northern California of producing quality Black Belts with a certification from the Kukkiwon (Taekwondo Headquarters) in South Korea. The program’s mission states that it is the same studio that prides itself on spreading the art of Taekwondo while developing leaders and self confidant individuals to the rank of Black Belt.
