Morgan Hill’s Most Valuable Preschool operates in a warm, home-like environment and includes access to a spacious, shaded playground and nutritious snacks. The program includes three age-based groups: Rookies for 2-year-olds, All Stars for 3-year-olds, and Pre-K for 4- to 5-year-olds, with programs thoughtfully designed by licensed educators and tailored to the developmental needs of each age group. All programs are designed by licensed educators, and each teacher brings over 10 years of experience in child development, with staff who are thoughtfully selected, extensively trained, and who participate in ongoing professional development while providing personalized attention tailored to each child’s unique needs.

The school has served families in the community for over 30 years, with a history that includes Young Explorer Preschool for 15 years, First Steps Preschool/Childcare for 16 years, and the current MVP Preschool name beginning in November 2018. Missi, the Owner/Teacher, Director, and head Pre-K teacher, has been teaching at the school since 1988, earned her teaching certificate, and creates learning strategies for her students while working one on one with them. Mitzi, a teacher aide and Resource Paraprofessional at Paradise Valley Elementary School, has been part of the school since 2011 and helps students develop their artistry side. The program operates under California License #434415815 and states a mission that focuses on nurturing children’s curiosity and imagination through exploration, respectful interactions, and the development of empathy, while partnering closely with parents and supporting each child’s academic and social development in a safe and nurturing, home-like environment.
