The Dance Hall / Hip Hop Craze

The Dance Hall / Hip Hop Craze offers classes that include jazz, cheer, hip hop, and other dance styles. The program also includes performance opportunities as part of its dance activities.

Established in 2012, The Dance Hall has offered dance classes for over 10 years. Hip Hop Craze is a competitive and performance dance company with dancers ranging in age from 5–20, and it also offers recreational classes. The mission of Hip Hop Craze is to provide an outlet for local youth and young adults to gain knowledge and skills in dance and performance, with a focus on confidence, creativity, leadership, teamwork, self-expression, and building life-long friendships, while encouraging students to stay focused on academics, education, future goals, and giving back to their communities. The program’s experienced instructors have trained hundreds of dancers of all ages and levels, and the company is led by Director Tiffany Maaske-Miller, who first created Hip Hop Craze in 2002.

Hip Hop Craze travels to regional and national competitions and has won numerous awards and national titles. The company performs several times each year around the Bay Area, including half-time shows for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA. It also hosts several productions each year that draw sell-out audiences of about 400–800 people per show.
