About
Youth Sports & Activity Camp offers week-long day camps that include football, basketball, volleyball, street hockey, soccer, softball, track, lacrosse, water sports, picnic games, court games, team handball, kick ball, dodgeball, frisbee, and a variety of indoor and outdoor games. Campers also have access to arts and craft materials, books, videos, and games, and can add after-camp swim lessons that cover freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke with glide, dolphin kick, racing starts, flip turns, and basic competition workout knowledge.
• Ages: 6–11 years old
• Schedule: Week-long sessions Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with four available sessions in June and early July and optional After Camp Care and swim lessons until 5:30 p.m.
• Price: Week-long sessions range from $500–$525 per week, with lunch included; After Camp Care is available for a fee and swim lessons tuition is TBA.
The Youth Sports & Activity Camps are open to rising 1st–6th graders from any school, and campers may attend as many of the four available week-long sessions as they choose. After Camp Care runs Monday–Friday from 2:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. and includes arts and craft materials, books, videos, a collection of games, and an afternoon snack and drink. Swim lessons are offered after each camp day in limited spots, with a student-teacher ratio of 6:1 and levels from Beginner to Advanced, each with specific prerequisites and learning outcomes.
The camp is staffed by Saint Francis High School faculty, alumni, and students. Saint Francis High School was founded in 1955 by the Brothers of Holy Cross, following a foundation laid in 1954. The Youth Sports & Activity Camps are dedicated to teaching teamwork, sportsmanship and positive self-esteem, and are structured to give group and individual instruction in a number of sports while emphasizing the positive development of each camper’s self-esteem. Saint Francis High School offers a Catholic, co-educational, college-preparatory program fostering spiritual, intellectual, and social development, and is sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross, with a commitment to serving underserved communities through academic programs that create pathways for growth and leadership.
Each child is asked to bring a backpack, play clothes, athletic shoes, a snack, a hat, spray-on sunscreen, a water bottle, a swimsuit or swim shirt, and a towel each day they attend. Families can follow camp updates on Instagram at @SF_SportsCamp.
