Its mission is to promote excellent horsemanship, proper riding skills, an active lifestyle, and a reliable horse resource to the community. The program states that it welcomes all ages and abilities, uses professional trainers and instructors, and includes continued education on a regular basis.

Lesson cancellations require 24 hours' notice for a make-up lesson. Make-ups take place Saturdays at 11am within 30 days. Riders are limited to a maximum of 4 make-ups per year. Monthly tuition is still due in full when a student misses lessons. If weather prevents riding, unmounted lessons will be substituted. Scheduled barn closures take place on days that fall on the fifth week of the month.
