Free Range Farm School

Free Range Farm School is a non-profit program that takes place on a family farm and homeschool setting where the family teaches others about farm life. The program includes a 2-day schedule with activities on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as additional teen and faith-based program times. Friday classes are offered in 6-week sessions that families can choose individually or join throughout the year.

• Price: Faith Rangers program is completely free for families.

Free Range Farm School is led by Kyle and Samantha Thompson, who both grew up in the area and are now raising their own children in the same way while teaching the community about farm life. The program operates on Cedar Dove Ranch, a 26-acre family ranch with hundreds of fruit trees, gardens, livestock, and a barn used for events. The organization states that its mission is to teach children and adults skill sets that will help them be more self-sustaining. The Wednesday evening program is moving to an open family-style worship and activity night.
