A Place of My Own

A Place of My Own places each child in an age-appropriate classroom for daily class time. Children also take part in indoor and outdoor play sessions with children ages 2-6. The program offers toddler care for ages 2-3 years and preschool for ages 3-6 years.

• Preschool — 3-6 years · $845–$1,200 per month · 2025-2026 Fee Schedule. Full-Time (5 days/week) $1200/month; Full-Day (4 days/week) $1040/month; Full-Day (3 days/week) $845/month; 1/2-Day (5 days/week) $975/month; 1/2-Day (4 days/week) $870/month.
• Toddler — 2-3 years · $910–$1,300 per month

About the provider

A Place of My Own has been nurturing and educating children in Napa for over 40 years. It is run by an Executive Director and a parent Board of Directors. Parents are encouraged to become involved in their child’s education, with a minimum of 5 hours of parent participation per school year, and are encouraged to attend bi-monthly Board Meetings.

There are no make-up days or trading. Once a schedule is agreed upon, the fee is due regardless of holidays, illness, or vacations. Tuition is subject to an annual increase of 2.5% every January. Sheet Rental Fee: one-time, non-refundable $20 fee due at enrollment. Annual Materials Fee: $150 per child, due each May. The school is a 501(c) non-profit organization.
