Camps (City of Napa Parks & Recreation Services) includes activities such as scavenger hunts, lawn games, nature crafts, experiments, walking field trips, and inflatables. Campers take part in games like 4 Corners, Steal the Bacon, SPUD, Foursquare, Hopscotch, Fun Fitness Challenges, and obstacle courses, as well as sports including Badminton, Pickleball, Soccer, Kickball, Basketball, Fencing, Flag Football, Volleyball, and Tennis. The program also offers giant-sized games like Connect 4, Jenga, and Tetris, and includes STEAM activities and visits from special guests.

• Schedule: Camp Napa at Fuller Park runs June 16–July 31, 2026; Parks and Recreation summer program registration opens April 7, 2026, and Camps registration opens January 6, 2026.
The program includes Camp Napa, Adventure Camp, a Leader-in-Training (LIT) program, and GAMES & SPORTS CAMP. Camp Napa and Adventure Camp are moving to Fuller Park for the summer of 2026, where campers are divided into age-appropriate groups, each with its own dedicated picnic area and Recreation Leaders. Walking field trips go to downtown destinations such as the Police and Fire Stations. The LIT program pairs participants with a camp group and a Senior Recreation Mentor, and LITs help facilitate games and activities throughout the week. GAMES & SPORTS CAMP includes both indoor and outdoor games, along with giant-sized games like Connect 4, Jenga, and Tetris, and offers half-day and full-day options for sport camps. Full-day and half-day options will also be available for enrichment camps in STEAM.
Parks and Recreation partners with community providers to offer sport camps in Basketball, Soccer, Fencing, Flag Football, Volleyball, Tennis, and more, and partners with various providers to offer STEAM programs throughout the summer. The leadership team includes Recreation Coordinator Alex Soto, Recreation Supervisor Kelly Bullock, and sports camp contact Dan Opperman. Napa was named a winner in the 2026 Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation, recognizing Napa residents for leading the 30,000–99,999 population category in the annual campaign for water conservation.
