• Schedule: Class and lesson options Monday–Friday from 8:00am–7:30pm, and Saturday from 8:00am–2:00pm

The junior program is described as progressive, with kids working toward the next level class. Little Champions is a beginner class for ages 5–8 years old where kids start to learn tennis fundamentals in a group setting, and it is offered only in Napa. Jr Tennis 101 is a beginner class for ages 10–14 years old where kids begin learning tennis fundamentals while playing with peers, and it is offered in both Napa and Fairfield. Hot Shots follows the same structure as Jr Tennis 101 but is a more advanced training group where players learn how to keep score for match play and focus on rallying, and it is offered in both Napa and Fairfield. Jr Academy is a high-performance program where kids focus on live ball, physical conditioning, and competitive match play for high school, tournaments, and college, and it is offered in both Napa and Fairfield.
Private tennis lessons are 1-on-1 sessions where a coach assesses skills, adjusts technique, and runs drills and ball feeding, and players are stated to progress the fastest through consistent private lessons. Families can book 30–90 minute private lessons with a USPTA-Certified FITT coach in Solano or Napa. FITT allows clients to book private lessons, register for clinics, or sign up a child for a class using CourtReserve, and FITT uses Mailchimp to send weekly newsletters.
The program is led by Tennis Director Mike Fischer and Schedule Coordinator & Business Development Manager Annika Fischer. After 15 years as a tennis instructor, Mike Fischer and Annika built a program that caters to all tennis players. Michael became a USPTA certified teaching professional and is a certified USPTA Elite Professional. Michael was a 4-time All American and 2-time League MVP for the varsity tennis team at Vanden High School, and in 2008 he won the California Community College Regional Doubles Championship and was named a Community College All American.
FITT states that its philosophy is to progress and develop a player’s game and have fun on court, with consistency described as key while keeping programming engaging, challenging, and fun in a professional atmosphere. FITT serves the Napa, Solano, and surrounding tennis communities with instruction and programming for all, and provides professional coaching and program development for clubs and public courts. FITT works with US Sports Camps to run NIKE summer tennis camps at Solano Community College. Annika works with a nutritional research and development company in Fairfield and is an active member of the Napa Valley Tennis Association Board of Directors.
For equipment, families can drop off a racquet (with string optional) to coaches to have it restrung in 2–4 days, email to confirm the drop-off and note preferred tension, and FITT will use a similar string they have in stock to match what is provided and then contact the family when the racquet is ready for pick up.
