• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Club and pool hours available every day, with weekday, weekend, and holiday hours listed for general access
HealthQuest Swim seeks to not only teach and improve swimming, but to foster a love of the water, and wants students to learn to swim in a positive, warm and caring environment. All swim instructors are Red Cross Certified and have received extensive in-house training, and USA Certified Master's Swimming programs are offered. HealthQuest describes itself as a locally-owned business with a three-decade long history in the community and a reputation it has built. HealthQuest was born in 1990, relocated to its California Boulevard building in 1995, and underwent a top-to-bottom remodel and renovation starting in 2010 that took two years to finish. The facility features two pools, spacious and luxurious locker rooms, locker room spas, steam rooms, saunas, four studios, and an enlarged child care area, and offers over 75 classes per week in the studios and pools, along with a virtual tour that includes a 3D rendering of the whole facility. One parent reports that the Swim School at HealthQuest has taught all of their children to swim and that their boys are now strong swimmers, and another statement from the program notes that “Swimming is a lifesaving skill, and a lifelong sport.”
