Hopper Creek Montessori was founded in 1984, and ten years later the school moved to its current home a few blocks from downtown Napa. In 2022, founder Carol Woodiwiss passed the torch to current leader Brenna Roth. The leadership team includes Founder Carol Woodiwiss, current leader Brenna Roth, Mrs. Tamara as Director, and Miss Bella as Head Teacher. Hopper Creek Montessori is teacher-owned, and every bit of profit goes directly to the teachers. The program states a mission of building confidence and curiosity in every child and empowering children to explore, learn, and grow in a supportive and loving environment, following the Montessori philosophy. The program notes small class sizes with a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 5:1, offers scholarships, and provides drop-in care and daily rates to fit families’ schedules.
