North Bay CYO Basketball

North Bay CYO Basketball is a basketball program where kids play on organized teams and participate in league games. The program includes regular practices followed by a scheduled game season.

• Ages: 8–13 years old
• Schedule: Practices begin November 3, 2025, with a ten-week season that includes a Christmas and New Year break from December 24, 2025, through January 4, 2026; games start the weekend of December 6–7, 2025, with one game per team each weekend, and the season ends the weekend of February 21–22, 2026.

The program is open to boys and girls in 3rd–8th grade. The league schedule will be made available around the Thanksgiving weekend, and families check with their parish Athletic Director for the day, time, and location of practices. Third-grade teams are divided up equally, and 4th–8th grade teams play in divisions, with the number of divisions depending on how many teams register each year. Playoffs for the 2024–2026 season will begin February 14–15, 2026. The league follows CYO guidelines, and league protocols are subject to change, with updated protocols provided as practices and games approach.

The mission statement for North Bay CYO Basketball is that it welcomes kids of all skills and abilities to join their local team and learn the game of basketball in a fun and rewarding environment. The North Bay CYO league consists of teams from Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and Mendocino counties and is sponsored by Catholic parishes in those counties, including Church of the Assumption (Tomales), St. Apollinaris (Napa), St. Elizabeth (Rohnert Park), St. Eugene (Santa Rosa), St. Johns (Healdsburg), St. Mary (Ukiah), Our Lady of Guadalupe (Windsor), St. Francis (Sonoma), St. Rose (Santa Rosa), St. Sebastian (Sebastopol), and St. Vincents (Petaluma).
