PGA Camps offers junior golfers activities including putting, chipping, full swing, pitching, stroke play, match play, and competitions. Campers take part in activities that work on balance, coordination, locomotion, and body awareness while learning and further developing golf fundamentals, course management, shot selection, golf’s traditions, and golf techniques.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Wee Ones, Half Day, Modified Full Day, Full Day, Indoor, and Advanced Camps generally run Monday through Friday, with daily sessions ranging from 1.5 to 6 hours depending on camp type.
• Price: Refund Protection is available for $10.00 per program and provides a full refund of registration if canceled for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
PGA Camps is a golf enrichment program designed exclusively for the development of the junior golfer and is designed for junior golfers of all abilities. Camps welcome boys and girls of all athletic abilities, golf experience, and competitive desire, and participants are segmented into small groups based on their experience and skill level. Wee Ones Camps are designed for ages 5–7, Half Day Camps for ages 6–13 at beginner to intermediate levels, Modified Full Day Camps for ages 8–16 at intermediate levels, Full Day Camps for ages 9–16 at intermediate to advanced levels, Indoor Camps for ages 6–18 at beginner to intermediate levels, and Advanced Camps for boys and girls ages 12–17 at advanced levels.
Indoor Golf Camps utilize golf simulators in a technology-based training space and offer an opportunity for juniors to learn and further develop golf fundamentals in a highly engaging environment. PGA Camps’ Skill Progression Cycle is a patented system that builds upon the previous days’ teachings and helps students improve. Rental equipment is available for a specified price to provide the necessary equipment required for participation.
All PGA Camps are taught by PGA of America Professionals and directed by Certified PGA of America Professionals. Every junior golf Camp Director has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America and certified in junior-specific instruction, techniques, and strategies. The mission of PGA Camps is to share a passion for the game of golf with youths across the country, with a stated promise to support, encourage, and respect each camper and to authentically inspire them to reach their full potential on and off the golf course. PGA Camps also notes scholarships for kids who are financially unable to attend sports programs.
